Acquiring the Swiss Institutional Accreditation (Higher Education)

​

Your institution, located in Switzerland, aims to consolidate its higher education status with the granting of  the Swiss Accreditation complying with the Federal Act on Funding and Coordination of the Higher Education Sector (HEdA) in place since 2015. You are looking at an external support to guide you ou accompany your project leader / teams through the different procedures and school readiness activities.

Managing a re-accreditation

​

Your institution, located in Switzerland, already has a Swiss Accreditation (University, University of Applied Sciences, Teaching University) but due to the Federal Act on Funding and Coordination of the Higher Education Sector (HEdA) in place since 2015, your institution is required to comply with new norms before 2022. Your QA internal team needs external support to cover this project in its whole or for a specific section

  • Analyze your school's compatibility with Swiss accreditation norms through a detailed audit (primary analysis offered) 

​

  • Support Head of Project in the development of a plan of actions with backward planning and costs estimations

​

  • Propose appropriate and realistic solutions to meet specific Swiss higher education standards and requirements 

​

  • Encourage collective engagement in the process, in the plan of actions implementation and in the school readiness through interactive sessions and activities 

​

  • Accompany Head of Project through the process to ensure project deadlines, actions and costs are respected.

​

  • Proof-read accreditation application and any self-evaluation reports and suggest recommendations on areas of improvement 

​

  • Initiate (if necessary) and coordinate relationship with external agencies (especially with the AAQ agency) and maintain realtions with local politicians involved in and influencing education in your region 

​

  • Train and accompany your different responsible and teams to leverage their maturity and autonomy in monitoring QA procedures, derived from the Swiss accreditation for efficient, sustainable and long-term services
